Jesus Christ meditated on emptiness: Christian word meaning emptiness in a religious sense - emptiness of self - "Kenosis" - "Jesus made himself nothing (ἐκένωσε ekénōse)" or "he emptied himself", verb form κενόω kenóō "to empty"

Just found this and I thought you would like to know that in the Christian tradition there is a word used in English which means emptiness in a religious sense - emptiness of self - it is the word "Kenosis"

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenosis

Kenosis is a Greek word for emptiness, which is used as a theological term. The ancient Greek word κένωσις kénōsis means an "emptying", from κενός kenós "empty".

The word is mainly used, however, in a Christian theological context, for example Philippians 2:7, "Jesus made himself nothing (ἐκένωσε ekénōse) ..." (NIV) or "...he emptied himself..." (NRSV), using the verb form κενόω kenóō "to empty".
Clearly from the documentation Jesus Christ meditated on emptiness.

Rock slapping! So it is! Padmasambhava's student's handprint near the opening of the cave where Padmasambhava realized Vajrakilaya in Parping, Nepal_4453

Hand print in stone at Padmasambhava's Cave entrance, Upper Pharping, Nepal

The story goes that one of Guru Rinpoche's students loved seeing the cave so much with the indications of Padmasambhava's presence that he slapped the stone and left his hand imprint. I examined it in detail - it is not a carving - it's real.
